Learning from the Earth, Art Safiental Biennal 2022

A tunnel that is continuously being disintegrated by the mountain is the location for the
new installation for the Art Safiental Biennial with the title “Learning from the Earth”.
Made with local stones and fencing for young trees, the lithophone can be played by the
public and amplify the fascinating acoustics of this space with engraved rackets at the
entrance of the tunnel. A touch and a sound standing for a moment and the difference
in temporalities of the geological beings we play music with.
